EOI For The Development And Management Of Social Media Platforms

The Zambia tourism board (ZTB) is working towards developing a social media platform as a marketing and communication channel targeted at local and international tourist, the global tourism industry and broad spectrum of stakeholders and interested parties. These platforms include, but not limited to Facebook, twitter, YouTube.

ZTB wishes to outsource the development and management of social media as a marketing communication channel to ensure an effective online presence promoting destination Zambia as a tourism destination of choice in a fun, user friendly and impactful manner.

The objectives of the social media platforms are summarized as follows;

·         Position Zambia as the number one holiday destination in Africa

·         Display a full range of Zambia’s tourist attractions

·         Promote the let’s explore destination brand

·         Display a full range of ZTB activities and functions

·         Develop a social media platform with a dynamic content management system

·         Optimize visibility of destination Zambia to the global online community

·         Provide information and interact with tour operators

·         Publish articles , events and news about Zambian tourism

·         Influence tourist in the decision making process to select Zambia for their holiday destination

·         Provide timely Reponses to online queries

·         Develop an interactive platform which actively engages the  audience and generate a sizable and respectable number of followers
