Since 2011, Zambia Institute of Mass Communication (ZAMCOM) Educational trust and Free Press Unlimited has been conducting training program in Zambia to strengthen the capacities of local community radio stations. The program focuses on journalistic and technical trainings for local community radio stations, It aims to improve the radio productions, specifically the educational programs.’
ZAMCOM Seeks to invite qualified and experienced Audit firms for the provision of audit services of the Free Press Unlimited Supported project for the year 2014:
Terms for selection of the Audit firm and the audit engagement,
The selection of the Audit firm is based on the following criteria:
The audit firm must be a registered member of ZICA and full member to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The audit firm is registered as such and should comply with professional standards and codes of conduct for auditors
The auditor should comply with the “Rules of Professional Conduct and Practice of Auditors” as mentioned in the Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants of the IFAC.
The auditor should conduct the audit in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
The auditing firm complies with the International Standard on Quality Control (ISQC) 1, Quality Control for Firms that Perform Audits and Reviews of Historical Financial Information, and Other Assurance and Related Services Engagements
Individual professional skills and experience especially with audits of NGOs and audits of projects financed by donors.
