The Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) that appeared on 21st March 2014 under UNDB online publication.
The Government of the Republic of Zambia has received a grant from the International Development Association towards the cost of Public Finance Management Reform Program, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the agreement(s) resulting from this IFB: Tender for the Supply and Delivery of 8No. 4×4 Double Cabs for the Electronic Cargo Tracking System.
The Zambia Revenue Authority serves as the implementing agency for the project and now invites bids from eligible Bidders for Tender for the Supply and Delivery of 8No. 4×4 Double Cabs for the Electronic Cargo Tracking System.
Bidding will be conducted using the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guideline: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, January 2011, and is open to all Bidders eligible as defined in these Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Zambian Revenue Authority, 10th Floor, Revenue House, Kabwe Roundabout, P.O. Box 35710, Lusaka and inspect the bidding documents from 08:30 to 17:00 hours local time.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K500.00 or in any freely convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque. The bidding document can also be accessed on the Zambian Revenue Authority website: www.zra.org.zm
Appropriately bound, sealed and bold labelled bids “Tender for the Supply and Delivery of 8No. 4×4 Double Cabs” must be delivered to the address below at or before Friday, 19th August 2016. 10:00 hours local time. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the bid sum duly signed by the Guarantor(s). Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Friday, 19th August 2016, 10:00 hours local time.
